PDP ZONAL CONGRESS: AKS PDP SPOKESMAN CONGRATULATES ANTE
The emergence of Bishop Etim Ante as South-South Zonal Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party has been described as a well thought out plan by the party leadership to enhance effective information dissemination and political control of the zone.
Speaking to journalists after the elections, the Akwa Ibom State Publicity Secretary of PDP, Com. Ini Ememobong thanked the South-South delegates for considering the state fit for the pivotal image maker role at a time the region is launching a renaissance plan for the party in Nigeria.
Judging from past records of performance, he expressed the belief that Ante will do the party proud in his new assignment considering his enthusiasm to see the party regain her rightful position at the center and also congratulated the outgone publicity secretary, Barr. Imowo Okpokpo for a brilliant performance and successful outing.
He promised to maximally support the zonal spokesman in his stride to create a platform for robust media engagement in the zone that will seek to put forth the gains of sustaining the PDP control of the region to fast track economic sustainability and political inclusion while calling on journalists to do more in reporting progress than destructive criticism.
Com. Ememobong used the forum to appreciate Governor Udom Emmanuel for his role in the peaceful congresses that has led to the emergence of credible men in the party and advised stakeholders and members to consolidate on the existing harmony to boost the party’s electoral fortune.
