PDP TO HOLD WARD CONGRESSES TO ELECT AD-HOC DELEGATES APRIL 30TH, 2022
In line with the extant provisions of Electoral Act 2022 and the PDP’s Electoral Guidelines for Primary Elections, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Akwa Ibom State Chapter hereby notifies members of our party that Ward Congresses to elect three Ad-hoc delegates eligible to vote at the forthcoming party nominations will hold tomorrow, Saturday 30th April, 2022.
The Ward Congress is expected to take place across all the wards in Akwa Ibom State duly recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
All card carrying members of the Peoples Democratic Party including those aspiring to be elected as Ad-Hoc delegates are expected to take part in this exercise billed to hold at their respective ward centres by 10:00 am prompt.
Take Notice that list of cleared aspirants seeking election to serve as Ad-Hoc delegates have been forwarded to the Chapter offices of our Party in all the 31 LGAs.
By way of emphasing on the directive from the National Working Committee of our party, stakeholders and members are enjoined to conduct themselves orderly for a peaceful, fair and credible exercise.
No form of violence will be condoned from aspirants or members of our party as this will attract severe consequences.
We enjoin all members to offer the officials maximum cooperations in order to see to the success of the congresses.
