ETINAN FED. CONSTITUENCY HAS BEEN BETTER OFF UNDER PDP – ELDERS, STAKEHOLDERS, ACKNOWLEDGE
…PROMISE LANDSLIDE VICTORY FOR PDP AHEAD OF 2023 ELECTIONS
Elders, Stakeholders and Members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency say their resolve to massively support and work for a resounding victory for the PDP in all categories of elections in 2023 remains unshaken, given the unquantifiable gains they Constituency has continued to enjoyed as a result of their unflinching support for the Party.
Leading the elders, Stakeholders and Members of the PDP in Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency to communicate the position of people when the train of PDP Federal Constituency Tour arrived at the headquarters of the Federal Constituency, Political Leader of Uyo Senatorial District, Senator Effiong Bob maintained that the Peoples Democratic Party has been the political vehicle through which enormous development in infrastructure and human capital have reached the area, stressing that this has bolstered the resolve of the people to perpetuate their support and work harder for victory for the party in future elections.
Senator Effiong Bob said “For us in Etinan Federal Constituency, we have never doubted the fact that the collective destinies of our people lie with the PDP, therefore, let me assure the party that we will continue to stay under the umbrella and create new stories of successes together as a people.
Earlier on, the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Akpan lauded the people of the Federal Constituency for keeping faith with the PDP through the years, assuring the people that the PDP has a strong and robust reward system for all categories of supporters.
The State PDP boss said “We are the only Political Party in Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria that is known to reward loyalty and support while also keeping the collective desires and aspirations of the people paramount. We will never destroy this impressive and patriotic record.”
Also Speaking at the Tour, National Ex-officio of the PDP who is also a former State Chairman of PDP Obong Paul Ekpo who took time to commend the party for serving as a platform for the actualization of the political dreams of many indigenes of the Federal Constituency, reminded the people of the need to stand by and respect the decision of the Party and her supremacy at all times.
In his remark at the event, immediate past Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Pastor Umoh Eno thanked the Party for what he described as the established tradition of unity and cohesion which the PDP in Akwa Ibom State is famed for, noting that this has been the important recipe for the successive electoral victories the Party has enjoyed since the return of democracy.
“I am sure that our continuous collective resolve to stick together as a people under the same Party exemplifies the true essence of unity which has helped us forge ahead through these years and I am sure that we will not renege on this long-established tradition of always staying united and succeeding together” The immediate past Commissioner, said
In their separate remarks, Member representing Etinan State Constituency Rt. Hon. Aniefiok Dennis who spoke on behalf of members of the House of Assembly from the Federal Constituency, Chairman of Etinan Local Government Area, Surv. Cletus Ekpo who spoke on behalf of the Chairmen of Council, Mrs Funmi Nkanga, Barr. Ime Essien Udom all lauded the leadership of the party for the constant efforts in strengthening the party in the state, promising that the people of Etinan Federal Constituency will balance these efforts by mobilizing for the party’s victory in the forthcoming elections.
A major highlight of the event was the formal reception of defectors from Etinan Federal Constituency back to the PDP.
