Congratulations are in order, Your Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom as you celebrate one year in office and 17 years of stable democracy in Nigeria.
Permit us to acknowledge your achievements, industry and superior performance in just one year in office. You are indeed, a proud product of our great party.
In one year, the party has seen how you have moved like a tiger in the rain forest, breaking the ground that was waiting for water to plant the seed of industrialization.
Despite paucity of funds, it stands to the tall credit of your administration that roads are constructed in the State, civil servants are paid their salaries regularly, the free and compulsory education programme is sustained, Peacock Paints was reactivated, our youths were trained to acquire skills on Power and Oracle Information Technology.
Interestingly, your administration has gone the extra length to reposition our great party by returning power back to the people during the last congresses.
As a party, we say with considerable conviction that your administration is driving the vision of a greater Akwa Ibom. Our Merciful God gave us the very best when He ordained you through the vote of Akwa Ibom people in 2015 as Governor.
For all that you have done and more, we say thank you. Good health and God’s guidance are our best wishes for you as you continue to steer the ship of state to the Land of Fulfillment.
