WE WILL RECORD FLAWLESS VICTORIES FOR PDP IN 2023 – Ikot Abasi Fed. Constituency Stakeholders Assure

 

…As PDP State Chairman scores Federal Constituency high on Commitment

As the federal constituency tour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Akwa Ibom State continues, stakeholders and members of the party in Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency, said they have reinforced for another round of victories for the party in the 2023 general elections, assuring that the victories of PDP in all categories of elections will be flawless.

Party leaders in the federal constituency who reaffirmed the people’s position in Ikot Abasi, Thursday March 10, informed the state delegation of the party that Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency which they pointed is commonly identified with the virtue of loyalty and unwavering stance for a good cause, will not fail to deliver victory for PDP at the polls.

Among those ventilating the thoughts of the federal constituency, was a founding PDP leader, Vice Chairman of Eket Senatorial District Elders Forum and former Commissioner for Finance, Obong (Sir) Obot David Etukafia, who explained that working to sustain the party in the federal constituency is a willing obligation for the people, saying that there is no room for any other party in the federal constituency.

Relaying the party’s message to Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency, the State Chairman of PDP, Rt Hon (Elder) Aniekan Akpan, lauded leaders and party faithful in the area for their doggedness in supporting the party when it mattered most, adding that the party constantly trust their commitment to keep supporting the party.

“We appreciate you for the work you have done in the past, the one you are doing and the one you are going to do. We specially appreciate the tenacity of Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency which accounts for the massive support this federal constituency has for PDP.”

“You have contributed to the development of Akwa Ibom State and this is not taken for granted. We have come to encourage you to do what you have been doing. Whatever you desire, do well to work together and the party will stand by you”, he said.

Also speaking, Sir Adasi Obolom, Hon (Elder) Sam Umoatang, Hon Joshua Afia who spoke on behalf of the council chairmen within Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency and Hon Edidiong Dickson, assured the party of the people’s continued support to victory by 2023.

On his part, Engr Uwem Okoko, aligned his position with earlier speakers, adding that Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency is also strongly behind Gov. Udom Emmanuel in his bid to keep developing Akwa Ibom State.

The State Chairman of the PDP Rt. Hon. (Elder) Aniekan Akpan also used the event to formally receive decampees from the APC into the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the Federal Constituency.

Earlier in the day, the party delegation had made a brief stopover at Ibom Power Company in Ikot Abasi, where the PDP State Chairman said the Ibom Power Company investment as well as similar investments by the Governor Udom Emmanuel administration in Power speaks of the visionary drive of the PDP administration, restating the commitment of the PDP to always produce leaders who take the state several notches higher in service to the people.

The Managing Director of Ibom Power Company, Engr. Meyen Etukudo, who welcomed the Party delegation said the Ibom Power was one of the strategic investments of the PDP administration in the state, noting that the Power Company has continued to generate power to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) for onward distribution by Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC) and other distribution companies.
