WE WILL DOUBLE OUR VOTES FOR PDP IN 2023- Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Party Faithful Assures
The People of Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency have reiterated their resolution to remain united in support of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and to top the chart in highest vote poll for the party by 2023.
Political stakeholders and party faithful in the federal constituency who converged in Ikot Akpankuk, Ukanafun, to host the PDP State delegation in the on going federal constituency tour of the party, restated their avowed committemnt to support PDP and Gov Udom Emmanuel.
While acknowledging their unflinching support for the party, the Akwa Ibom State PDP Chairman, Rt Hon (Elder) Aniekan Akpan commended the stakeholders for their leading in expanding the frontiers of the party, holding that he feels proud to come from the federal constituency.
The party chairman resounded the position of PDP in the state, advising them to keep up with the unity and peace enjoyed in the federal constituency, while tasking key players in the system to always give priority to the people’s interest in their endeavours.

Also speaking, the political leader of Ukanafun, Obong Eno Akpan, affirmed the stance of the federal constituency, adding that being the federal constituency that the party chairman is from, they will always do everything possible to remain a stronghold of PDP in the state.
On his part, the member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Unyime Idem, assured the party that his federal constituency will not fail, saying that their aspiration is to be the strongest federal constituency for PDP.
Member representing Oruk Anam State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Sir Udo Kierian Akpan and his Ukanafun counterpart, Hon. (Dr) Charity Idio, in their seperate remarks, aligned with the position of the leaders of the federal constituency, pledging support for the party.
