ROAD TO 2023 ELECTIONS VICTORY: A’IBOM PDP CONTINUES ACCELERATED MEETINGS
The Peoples Democratic Party in Akwa Ibom State is making accelerated moves to strengthen and deepen the taproot of success of the party by driving greater support base through consistent engagements with electorates at various levels, particularly the grassroots.
Following this, State Officers of the PDP, alongside local government chapter and Ward Chairmen of the Party in Akwa Ibom State, have moved to further strengthen the engagement strategy of the party at the grassroots in view to drive greater support base in preparation for the polls in 2023.
Meeting in Uyo, the State Chairman of PDP, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Aniekan Akpan, who addressed the chairmen, lauded their resilience in holding firm the structures of the party, tasking them to be pragmatic and creative in their approaches to grassroots engagements.
On their part, the chapter and ward chairmen who shared thoughts on the state of affairs in their chapters and wards, had a concensus on improving the already robust grassroots engagements which they opined will further position the party for victory.
The chairmen who also reaffirmed their stance in opening the door of the party to accommodate more defectors who are heading into the party, assured the state party chairman that PDP is ever strong at all levels in their different wards and will remain so.
