Makarfi Vs Sheriff: Appeal Court Adjourns Sitting Indefinitely

The 3 Man Special Appeal Panel of the Court of Appeal led by Justice Ibrahim Salauwa has adjourned sitting sine die as a result of another Petition written against the Panel by the former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff renegade group to the National Judicial Council (NJC).

This is the 3rd time in a row Senator Sheriff and co has tried to scuttle and delay justice by writing frivolous petitions against Justices of the Appeal Court.

The court has adjourned to allow the NJC determine the petition written against them by Sheriff.

It is becoming more glaring that the enemies of democracy in the ruling Party, @APCNigeria and it’s paid agents are going all out to decimate the Judiciary in their bid to maintain a one Party state.

We will continue to remain resolute in our trust in the Judiciary as the last hope of the common man.

We call on all our members, teeming supporters nationwide to maintain their unalloyed loyalty and support to the Senator Ahmed Makarfi led National Leadership of the PDP to move our Party forward.

We know the NJC will look into the latest petition by Senator Sheriff against the Justices of the Appeal Court to save the Judiciary and our democracy
