IPAC Honours Akwa Ibom State PDP Chairman

The Inter-Party Advisory Council has poured encomium on Obong Paul Ekpo; the Pioneer Chairman of IPAC for the laudable achievements he has recorded so far since he was elected as the Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Chapter.

The Council made this known during a courtesy call in the Peoples Democratic Party Secretariat, 113 Edet Akpan Avenue, 4Lane, Uyo. In an Opening speech by the Council Chairman; Engr Martins Inyang, he eulogised the Obong Paul Ekpo for what he termed as the Uncommon Achievements that he has recorded especially when he was the Pioneer IPAC Chairman. He on behalf of the council presented an award to him as the IBOTO IPAC. He also sent a word of commendation to His Excellency, Deacon Udom Emmanuel for keeping the promise of appointing one of their own as the Special Assistant on Inter-Party Affairs in the person of Hon Lawrence Udoh.

However, in his response, Obong Paul Ekpo thanked the Council for the honour done him and for deeming him fit to be awarded as the IBOTO IPAC. He appreciated the efforts of the members of the Council and admonished them to continue to be connected, United and steadfast in rendering the required support for the Akwa Ibom Project.

Finally, the Chieftain of APC; Obong Kufre Inyangette in his vote of thanks speech, thanked Obong Paul Ekpo for having been an exemplary leader, worthy of emulation by many and the PDP family for having led the foundation on which IPAC is built and for sustaining the support for the Council. He also pledged his unalloyed support of his party and other parties to the progress of the Akwa Ibom Project.
