Ibiono Ibom LG Chair Breaks Jinx, Constructs Over 300 Stalls At Ikpa Market

Pastor Samuel Eka has in barely six months as the transition chairman of Ibiono Ibom LGA, blown the minds of the people of Ibiono Ibom Local Government by building a whooping number of 300 shops at Ikpa Market which he rechristened Ibiono Ibom Central Market and rehabilitated the Ikpa Water Project and the abattoir.

The Rt. Hon. Speaker of AKHA, Barr. Onofiok Luke, while commissioning these projects today Monday the 19th of December 2016 expressed his astonishment and gratitude as a grand son of the LGA who did his primary education in Ibiono and knows what the market looked like as far back as 1992.

The event was witnessed by a great turn out of Ibiono ibom people and equally graced by the elders and political class of the LGA and state some of which include Rt. Hon. Ime Okon (member representing Ibiono ibom state constituency), Dr. Ini Essien (Comm for environment), Mr. Harrison Ekpo (PDP state secretary), Comrade Ini Ememobong (PDP State Publicity Secretary), Comr. Otobong Kokoette Akpan ( S.A Grassroots Mobilization), Hon. Bassey Eyibio (Commissioner 3, Akwa State Civil Service Commission), Rt. Hon. Godwin Ekpo (Board Member, Local Govt Service Commission and Immediate Past Chairman Ibiono Ibom LG), Elder Ntienyong Inyangmme (Pioneer PDP State Secretary), Chief Elder Israel Uttit, Mr. Idorenyin Raphael (S.A- Trade and Marketing), Mkpisong Obong Ememobong Essien JP and The Paramount Ruler of Ibiono Ibom- His Royal Majesty Edidem Dr. Ime Udoh Usoro-Inyang JP to mention a few.
