The Mkpat Enin Chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC sends congratulatory message to the Chairman-elect, Mr. Ekanem Brown who won on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The message reads;
CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
“On behalf of the All Progressive Congress, Mkpat Enin Chapter, we sincerely congratulate the winner of the just concluded 2nd December 2017 Local Government election in Mkpat Enin, Mr. Ekanem Brown of the PDP. We do believe his victory is the people’s victory of transformation from violence to nonviolence electoral status.
“Our commendation also goes to all the security agencies who were alert in all the flash points in the local government to tame tide of electoral violence.
“TO OUR PARTY THE ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS members, we thank you for exhibiting that spirit of sportsmanship in accepting defeat.
“We do advice that the ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS party would eschew rancour and rivalry within the party in preparation for future elections.
“Once again, we congratulate the PDP candidate, Mr. Ekanem Brown for his victory, wishing his “BROWNOMIC GREEN REVOLUTION” would be a great lifter to the Mkpat Enin people.
